SMALL PELLETS. A CLEAR PURPOSE.
Poseidon Pellets are porous media designed to capture phosphate as water flows through them. Their internal and external surfaces provide contact for adsorption.
81 mg/g phosphate adsorption capacity was achieved in U.S. EPA isotherm testing. This laboratory result is a reference point, not a guarantee of field performance.
System design depends on flow rate, inlet concentration, contact time, and your treatment target.

CONTAINED MEDIA
Boom socks hold porous pellets in a permeable mesh. Water flows through the media and phosphate binds to the pellets.
P-SMART FILTRATION
A contained media bed supports upflow or downflow operation. Flow direction and media volume depend on your system design.
TERTIARY TREATMENT
Poseidon Pellets can remove phosphorus after secondary treatment and before disinfection.
Start with your flow rate, inlet concentration, and discharge target. These determine the media volume and contact time your project needs.

APPLICATIONS
Poseidon Pellets capture phosphorus from municipal and industrial wastewater, stormwater, agricultural runoff, and off-mains systems. UK utility projects can include tertiary treatment within the AMP8 investment period. Our Florida canal restoration project uses passive phosphorus removal. Marsh Industries is our exclusive off-mains partner in the UK and Ireland. System sizing depends on flow, nutrient loading, contact time, and your discharge target.
